Jana Kramer became famous on TV, in which she portrayed Alex on One Tree Hill's final three years. The first two albums she made as a country singer were featured on episodes of the show that helped her debut album of the same name in the top 20 on the Billboard 200. Thirty One by 2015 was the follow-up and reached Number Ten. The decade came to an end with appearances on Dancing with the Stars, television shows, and singles that were not album tracks. She continued acting in films such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would appeal to her fans. In October 2015, Kramer released Thirty One by Warner Music Nashville. The album was helped by Kramer's Top Five country song I Got the Boy and as a duet with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album peaked at third place in the Billboard 200 country charts and top 10 on the Billboard 200. Her two-month appearance on the Dancing with the Stars 23rd episode ended up with her finishing 4th. The same year she was also a part of an adult-oriented hit song by releasing"Feels Like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
