Carey Lowell (born April 15, 1970) is an American actor from the United States. She began modeling at the age of Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein. Her acting debut came with the film 'Dangerously Close' (1986). The next film she appeared in was "Club Paradise," a film that was filmed the same day. The actress also starred in 1989's James Bond movie, 'Licence to Kill'. Later, she reprised her role as a voice actor in the video game '007 Legends.' However, she is best known for her appearance on TV and in particular for the role 'Jamie Ross' in the American TV drama 'Law and Order. The show had her as a main role and a character that was a guest. Unsatisfied with the media, during the 2000s she made the decision to enroll at New York University and study documentary filmmaking. In 2016, her 3-year divorce from the actor Richard Gere was finalized. Since the time, Lowell has steered clear from any controversy.
