Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a famous American performer and actress. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier) who is a nurse, and Tom Bell, a television news director. She is of Polish (mother's) as well as German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen's talent for entertainment was found at a young age. In 1992, she went to her first audition, and was able to win a role in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell was appointed by her mom to become an agent when she was 13 years old. Then, she was selected for newspapers ads as well as commercials for TV. Also, she began private acting classes at this time. Bell appeared on the screen in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School where she participated in the music and drama clubs. When her school staged a show of The Wizard of Oz, Bell won the role of Dorothy. Bell was a student at an institution called the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, where she studied Musical Theatre at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City. The year 2001 was the time Bell left university to perform the part in the role of Becky on Tom Sawyer. In the is the year she was the first to be credited with Pootie Tang (2001), however her character was deleted and she was only seen in the credit sequence. Bell was on Broadway on Broadway in The Crucible, a revival that featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
