Najarra Townsend
Najarra knew exactly what she wanted to pursue in her life by the time she was just three years old. In her early childhood she began modeling as well as performing on local stages. Najarra continued to take part in plays and musicals through the rest of her teenage years. In the film "Menace" where she was in the lead role, she appeared at age ten. Najarra won international recognition due to her performance in the Sundance as well as the Cannes Award-winning "Me and You and Everyone We are", in 2005. The actress has appeared as the title character in various films, including: "Tru Loved", "Marin Blue", "Betty I am" and appeared in numerous other independent films. The public was able to experience a different side of the actress's youthful self in the IFC Midnight horror hit "Contracted". Najarra is determined to devote her life to the things she loves and that inspire her.
